Planet Angel

Planet Angel, the not for profit organisation, has been hosting club nights for over 15 years; don't worry if you've never heard of it before, it is London's best kept secret! It's parties are traditionally spread by word of mouth and the locations of the raves are not publically advertised.

Founded by Pete and a friend, Planet Angel was first brought to life to give people a place to escape from the pressures of modern society, to heal within the atmosphere of which it creates. What an atmosphere too... with three rooms of music, games, and chill-out space there's so much to see and experience.

The hugely popular Funky Lounge has been host to some of the world's best Drum and Bass, Breakbeat and Funk DJs, the amazing Meltdown Room is no stranger to Global Superstar Trance and House DJs, among those that have played within the last year are names such as The Thrillseekers, Will Atkinson, Lisa Pinup and soon to debut Robbie Van Doe. There's also The Ibiza Bar, playing chilled classics, and the Planet Angel Creative Space which has Lego, Connect Four, Plasticine, Giant Jenga, Magnetic Poetry Board, UV Canvas Art Area and much more.

Planet Angel's Tag Line is : "Live an Ordinary Life in an Extraordinary Way". They certainly know how to throw Extraordinary parties, it's not uncommon to see a global superstar DJ bouncing across the dance floor on a space hopper in a race with a partygoer. This is what Lisa Pinup had to say about their NYE House Party :

Lisa Pinup: ?I hope you all had fun NYE? I had the most enjoyable one I that I can remember, if not forever! Started off at a gig in Leicester, Then I was off to Planet Angel in Sussex, you really had to be there to experience this event, it was an actual house party in a manor house where I DJed in the dining room off a 200 year old grand piano! Touching distance to all the wonderful party people. Guests were allowed to wander around the house with a library room, a kitchen and courtyard with a walled garden and a roman style swimming pool that will be opened up this summer. I came home feeling so satisfied after loving the whole night but must admit it?s taken me a long time to recover.?

Planet Angel is run entirely by an army of volunteers, and it's evident from the moment you first walk into the venue, the love and passion that goes into the parties are like no other club nights, the people are the friendliest and most colourful you can imagine. There's an abundance of fun and love in the air.... in fact when Planet Angel polled its guests, 97% of them said they had positively benefited from attending one their events, that might be from one the many marriages that have come to pass from meeting at a Planet Angel Party or it could be finding a bunch of forever friends or the job of your dreams by a random encounter in the chill area....anything seems possible at Planet Angel.

The next party is on March 27th, The Spring Bling Party: Robbie Van Doe will be headlining the Meltdown Room and there is an absolutely massive Line-up of DJs for all rooms all night.
