Oasis are finally back, and kicked off their long-awaited reunion tour with two sold-out nights at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff this past weekend.
Lighting up the Welsh capital in front of 70,000 emotional fans on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th July, the two nights saw the Gallagher brothers sharing a stage once more after 16 years apart, alongside founding member Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs - the guitarist's first show with the band in 25 years - fellow rhythm guitarist Gem Archer, bassist Andy Bell, and drummer Joey Warwonka, who joins the band for the first time after previously playing for the likes of R.E.M. and Liam Gallagher & John Squire.

Opening with (What’s The Story) Morning Glory’s intro track ‘Hello’ and closing out with an encore comprising ‘The Masterplan’, ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’, ‘Wonderwall’, and ‘Champagne Supernova’, Oasis’ acclaimed return wound back the clock, comprised primarily of the band's 90s material, and culminated in the brothers sharing an onstage hug much to the delight of fans.
Support for the tour's UK leg comes courtesy of Liverpudlian indie rock group Cast and fellow Britpop figure Richard Ashcroft. Oasis Live ’25 will continue with dates at Manchester’s Heaton Park, London’s Wembley Stadium, Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium, and Dublin’s Croke Park throughout July and August before they jet off across the pond for their U.S. leg of the tour.
