The monthly house and techno night makes the perfect place to launch what's set to be another exhilarating Exit Festival, as Circus returns to The Masque once more with a typically strong line-up.

Joining Circus’ founding lynchpin Yousef this month will be a starlet making her Circus debut, Magda. Now fully flown from the M_nus stable where she made her name, Magda’s artistic thrust forward continues to develop and mature in equal measures, her amalgamation of the classic strains of Detroit with the punchier European sound representative of her upbringing as well. Since amicably splitting from the futurist advancements of Ritchie Hawtin to start Items & Things with Marc Houle and Troy Pierce she’s made her own sound even more indelible, concentrating her output perfectly into a futuristic juxtaposition of analogue and digital.

Also returning is Joris Voorn. Now firmly held as one of the mainstays of the current global scene, Joris is rightly feted as an artist who really elevates the craft of DJing and spreads it across genres. Want spine tingling breakdowns caressing your earth shattering techno? No problem. Disco infused grooves softening the coarseness of metallic house? This is the man to do it. Having such a dextrous understanding of genres is nothing if the technical ability and musical creativity isn’t there to deliver it, and this is a DJ who has them both in spades. A bona fide Circus favourite, Joris is sure to rock The Masque to its very core with his theatre debut…

Finally a true star of the underground rounds off the guest counter. Butch has already blessed Circus with his tougher sound, rollocking evocative house with an added steel of techno swagger, and he returns for a further inspired groove education.

Resident Lewis Boardman and local hero Scott Lewis round things off.
