You have seen the writing on the wall, but you didn't expect it to be written in your own blood. As the medics came swarming through the streets, scouring for survivors - you lay there next to your scrawled warning and congealing intestines - wondering how long it will take you to die and turn into a zombie.

Sound familiar... is this one of your dreams? If so, get involved. This is an open call to arms for all zombie fans to take part in the UK's largest ever zombie flash mob this Hallowe'en.

That's right, we're going for a record breaking attempt at this year's DeadFest.

Purple Revolver want you for their undead army of flesh-eating fanatics. Help us take over the city and scare the living bejeezus out of people.

The flash mob will happen on Hallowe'en (full details revealed to participants closer to the date, but the event will take place outside of normal working hours).

DeadFest also boasts a zombie bar crawl for all participants around Seel Street, taking in top city party bars Aloha, Salt Dog Slim's, Heebie Heebies and with a zombie VIP after party at East Village Arts Club, this is an event people will be dying to attend.

Extra major organ munching fun fact - Hallowe'en is on Friday this year. Great undead and evil fun is guaranteed for all!

The UK record for most zombies currently stands at 1,100, get involved and help us smash it!

The flash mob will be captured on film and be part of a behind the scenes documentary for Liverpool Bay TV by their professional team of videographers.

So anyone looking to expand the acting portfolio or if you just fancy pointing yourself out as a skin scoffing extra - sign up with eager brain eating haste.

There are a limited amount of Zombie VIPs - (only 200) - who will get TV standard make up and be featured heavily on camera. VIP zombie wristbands are selling fast and will be sold on a fastest finger first basis.

There are two tiers of zombie wristbands you can buy:

Zombie VIP - £10: full on TV standard zombie makeup (these zombies will be heavily featured on camera in our event coverage), free Purple Revolver Amy Winehouse tee shirt, zombie drink at DeadFest after party.

Undead Army - £5 - zombie make up, free entry for all DeadFest venues and a special zombie shooter.
