As anyone who follows the music news will already know, Wilko Johnson opted for a potential life saving operation last week to remove the tumour that he was diagnosed with early last year. The recovery period will mean that he will not be able to play Linton this year, unfortunately.
Therefore we have had to find a replacement at short notice and Bernie Marsden has got his band together for us.
Bernie has played the festival before and always raises a groundswell from the crowd with his extensive back catalogue of solo, Whitesnake and Rory Gallagher material. Therefore Friday will finish with a superb performance from this rock music veteran.
