Review of Funked Up Vibes

It was a fabulous event and Randy Robinson and Caroline Heelbeck with Lisa hosted so well . Randy and Caroline kept the tunes coming and the complementary welcome drinks and later gorgeous Indian snacks as canapés from the wonderful East Restaurant downstairs were a very lovely touch . The rooftop bar with fabulous views Was the perfect place to drink the half price c**ktails on offer until 8pm . Very enjoyable event .

Great weekend. Always look forward to coming up from the south. Long trip, weekend is full of good things- the music, the venue & staff nice refit,and the like-minded soulies. Live addition Mr Arthur Miles a true gentleman did a mini set Friday and Saturday the second night he seemed more comfortable, and was well received. On a personal note missed the Saturday  outdoor event especially as the weather was  beautiful. but understand reason.I like it because generally the DJs are collectors and despite many rareities  are not big name super DJs. The 3 rooms offer a variety of music and you dip in and out of the rooms, if like me your music covers different genres.  We thoroughly enjoyed the weekend, and look forward to next year. KTF.


went to my first one as part of a weekend in the area.  Really enjoyable been into Black music since late 70's and this even was an open minded celebration of the music I love with no politics or egos on show . lots of different sets that covered all the bases  and people dancing in all of the rooms .

Well planned and presented and lived up to my expectations. Live act Arthur Miles was awesome and best DJ fir my kinda soul was Steve Sayles. Will be there again next year.

Atmospheric  casual venue like old school band on the wall.  Great live music event showcasing independent artists with real talent.
