About

Riot Gulll is a cult feminist live music and club night by the sea – and Kent’s premiere night championing women in music.

Every edition brings together women and gender-diverse fronted bands across alt-rock, post-punk, and beyond, usually three incendiary live acts followed by riotous DJs spinning rock, new wave, pop punk, metal, and more.

Since launching in Folkestone at the end of 2022, Riot Gulll has fast become a vital space for new music on the South Coast, hosting artists including HotWax, CLT DRP, Loose Articles, Shelf Lives, Dream Nails, Pink Suits, A Void, CIEL, Estelle Mey, Black Bordello, Zombie Killers and many more.

Happening every 2–3 months in Folkestone, with the occasional stage takeover further afield, Riot Gulll is DIY, inclusive, and unapologetically loud: a celebration of diversity, community, and the joy of live music.
