Rock the Castle - Weekender takes place Friday 10th - Saturday 11th July 2026.

Friday from 5:30pm until 10:30pm - Gates open @5pm

Saturday from 12pm until 10:30pm - Gates open @11.30am

Rock the Castle - Weekender is held at Flint Castle in Flint.

Rock the Castle - Weekender is a family-friendly, all ages event.

Children must be accompanied by an adult and must have registered for a ticket. Adults must purchase the ticket when they get their own.  Children are free.

Yes - however, there is no shade in the castle and it’s likely to be very hot. We ask that all dogs brought to Rock the Castle - Weekender are on leads at all times and that you pick up after them.

No, BBQs are not permitted at Rock the Castle - Weekender.

Gazebos are not allowed at Rock the Castle - Weekender.  Due to the nature of the event, having gazebos up in the castle would present a health and safety risk

Yes on both counts - although there will be a large array of food vendors onsite it is completely no problem for you to bring your own to Rock the Castle - Weekender.  Likewise, you can bring your own alcohol although there will be a full bar onsite including chilled beer on tap and a fab gin bar.

Yes!  There will be a firework display on Saturday night at 10.30 and it will last approximately 5 minutes.
