A trailblazing staple of British rock - starting all the way back when Oasis first made an irreversible dent in global music taste back in the 90s - Noel Gallagher has spent his three-plus decade career cementing himself as a historic singer-songwriter, continuously building on an inimitable catalogue of anthems, chart-toppers and ballads. Along with High Flying Birds, Noel’s universally reaching lyrics have found him performing in the world’s biggest venues - headlining shows in over 30 countries, and even gracing the iconic Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury 2022.
Joined on the day by not one, not two, but three iconic British acts, The Vaccines, The Coral and Gaz Coombes - each ubiquitous with the UKs legendary alt/rock scene in their own right - this is set to be a suitably epic night to close off two weekends of world-class electronic and live music on one of Britain’s most iconic coastal settings.
The show doesn’t stop with Noel however, with three more equally lauded acts taking to the pebbles on Brighton Beach this summer. Ever since The Vaccines exploded onto our radios in 2011 platinum-selling smash-hit ‘If You Wanna’, they’ve gone from strength to strength, releasing five studio albums and earning hundreds of millions of streams (and fans) in the process.
Liverpool’s The Coral have remained a mainstay fixture of the retro-rock scene for over twenty years thanks to their unique mix of timely influences and genres - allowing early 2000 hits like ‘Dreaming of You’ and ‘In The Morning’ to still stand tall today alongside their more contemporary works, such as the inspired 2021 concept album ‘Coral Island’.
Gaz Coombes - former frontman for the multi award-winning band Supergrass - safely sits on a legacy that’s inspired a whole new generation of musicians and bands, and he still manages to grow creatively and conceptually as an artist. Tapping into the sonic palettes that cross the uplifting and melancholic and funny and hopeful, Gaz Coombes is an unmissable treat that perfectly captures the rich growth of Britain’s rock exports.
