Yes there is parking at Nibley Festival. There is a charge per vehicle for parking because space is limited - passes must be purchased from the Ticket page. Please enquire to info@nibleyfestival.co.uk about Disabled parking.

FREE bus services will be running to and from Wotton, Charfield, Kingswood, Wickwar, Cam and Dursley, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  Please note all timings are approximate and subject to the traffic in and around the Festival Site and local towns.  We recommend getting to your chosen pick up point 5-10 mins ahead of time.

On the way back from Nibley Festival please make sure you get on the right bus or you could have a long walk home! Each bus will display a sign with its destinations. They are using the classic Double Decker buses supplied by Chepstow Coaches.

Nibley have kindly been given permission from Alderley Systems in Wickwar and The Vale Hospital to use their car parks as pick up points. They have asked that no festival goers park their cars in their car parks. Please respect this or they may not be able to use these pick up points next year.

In addition to the shuttle buses there is a scheduled bus which runs through North Nibley, although the last buses tend to be early evening.

There will be a designated place to store your bicycle at Nibley Festival, safely but at your own risk. Details will be updated nearer the time.

The roads around Nibley and on approach to the farm are very popular with experienced cyclists.  But they are hilly, windy, sometimes narrow, and quite busy, so not particularly safe for a family to pedal to the festival.

For safety reasons and respect for Nibley Festival's neighbours we ask that you arrange to drop off and pick up on the festival site rather than in the village.

Use the main festival entrance (opposite Nibley School) along with all the other traffic. There is a designated Pick Up/Drop Off area just before the main car park, which is stewarded. Drivers are not to leave their vehicle and must leave promptly due to limited space. Stewards will direct you through the one-way system exiting through the car park to the main road. (No car pass required.)

Nibley Festival isn't well served by public transport (see detail under Buses above), but the nearest train station is Cam & Dursley.  From there it's about 4.5 miles, so best book a taxi:

Nibley Festival recognise that disabilities manifest in all sorts of ways, many of which are hidden. The Nibley Festival site is on fairly level to gently sloping grazing farmland.  There are no steps, and whilst the ground can be uneven in some places, it is suitable for wheelchair access. 

They have plans to ensure that wheelchair users have good sightlines to all of the stages, and easy access to the Bar.

Disabled Parking for day visitors at Nibley Festival is near one of the entrances, giving direct access into the main arena.  There is also disabled parking and camping.

Blue Badge holders may park for Free, but passes must be pre-booked by emailing info@nibleyfestival.co.uk. They will ask you to supply paperwork or an image of your badge.  In exceptional cases (such as injury) and at the festival's discretion, a space in the disabled area may be booked without a Blue Badge but is chargeable at the normal parking rate of £18. Due to limited space they will be unable to accommodate any vehicles that are not pre-booked.

Nibley Festival are really pleased to be able to have this facility back for 2024 for the entire weekend, with grateful thanks to The Barnwood Trust for their support. With an electric hoist, adult-sized changing bench, toilet and wash basin, Mobiloo opens up a whole new world for those who require accessible facilities.  It comes with staff who are compassionate, caring, professional and fun; driven to make a difference to the lives of those they support.

Accessible Tent camping and Live-In-Vehicles (plus size pitch 9m x 6m) are located by 'Quieter Camping' which is the flattest area and gives easy access to the main arena and a disabled toilet. Nibley Festival are unable to allow vehicles into the tent camping areas, but disabled parking is located next to accessible camping. There is no electrical power supply in any of the camping areas. 

Guide and Assistance dogs are welcome at Nibley Festival, if they are working and in harness.  Fresh drinking water is available for them throughout the site. (Kindly ensure that any mess is picked up.) 

In a bid to make Nibley Festival accessible to everyone, they offer a Free Pass to the Personal Assistant of a Disabled person, who would not otherwise be able to attend. The Disabled person must hold a valid paid-for ticket.

To apply for a 2-for-1 Pass please contact info@nibleyfestival.co.uk before 31st May 2024. You will need to provide evidence of one of the following:

– Middle or Higher rate DLA for care and/or mobility

– Receipt of Personal Independence Payment (PIP)

– CredAbility Access Card – + 1 category requirement – www.accesscard.org.uk

– Hynt Card

– Evidence of being severely sight impaired

– A recognised Assistance Dog ID Card.

The Assistant must be in the company of the disabled person at the wristband exchange and their Pass is valid subject to the attendance of the disabled person. Should the disabled person be unable to attend the festival, the Carer's Pass becomes invalid.

All Children and Teens under 18 at Nibley Festival are expected to be in the care of at least one adult with a full paid ticket in any case, but if additional support is needed to help care for the young person and enable everyone to have a good time, then please contact the festival. They will ask you for one document from the above list,  The Child must hold a ticket and be a minimum age of 4 years.

Passes are limited and will be issued on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the organisers. We appreciate that each guest may have different requirements, so if you have any questions, or an issue that hasn’t been catered for in these details or want to submit another form of evidence which is not outlined in this page then please get in touch.

Tent camping at Nibley Festival is included in the price of all tickets, Live-In-Vehicle passes for caravans and campervans need to be bought from the ticket page.

Regular Weekenders know that Friday night is when the festival kicks off, and this year they have it all going on, as always.  Live acts across 3 stages, 2 bars+, loads of kids' activities, and the infamous Silent Disco! A tantalising array of street food is available on both Friday and Saturday.

Also on Saturday mornings are activities for the whole family, all entirely free, including an assortment of circus equipment for the kids to try their hand, storytelling and Silly Science!  There are also well-being sessions in The Orchard, to kick start your day.

Live-In-Vehicles ONLY can check in at Nibley Festival from 1pm on Friday. 

ALL OTHER admissions to the Wristband Exchange, Carpark and Campsite start at 2pm on Friday.  Please don't arrive any earlier as the site will not be ready and they will have to turn you away.

Wristbands are available from 2-10pm on Friday and from 9am on Saturday.  

The Tent Field is vehicle-free so you will need to carry your tents etc. from the Parking Field.

The stewards' aim is for the campsite to run safely and smoothly for everyone, so please help them to do their job.  Leave access lanes clear and be considerate when using the available space.  If you take up too much room you may be asked to move to accommodate later arrivals.

Nibley Festival don't mind how big your tent is, as long as it's well-occupied (a 12-man tent for only 3 people is a waste of space).

Campervan/Caravan pitches are 7 x 6m's;  your van, plus car, awning, pup-tent etc must fit into this space.

There will be portable toilets on the campsite at Nibley Festival.  Please report any problems to a Campsite Steward. 

There are drinking water points on the campsite, and we recommend that you bring refillable water bottles with you for convenience, and join Nibley in trying to reduce plastic waste.

Please use the bins provided. The site is a working farm and litter and waste pose a hazard to livestock and wildlife.  Be particularly careful to collect all tent pegs when you leave.

There are no showers and no electric hook-up.  There is also no facility for LIV toilet emptying, chemical or compost. There is lighting around the toilets, but bring a torch so you can get there!

As usual, breakfast will be available on Saturday and Sunday mornings from 7am at Nibley Festival for campers.  

 

Barbeques, open fires and generators are not permitted anywhere on the campsite at Nibley Festival.

Gas Bottles in Camper Vans – Please ONLY bring sufficient gas with you in the fitted cylinders on the vehicle. NO spare bottles should be brought onto site (except those in purpose designed carriers in gas lockers).

Camping Stoves – Permitted on Camping Fields.  Not to be used in or near tents.  Please ONLY bring sufficient gas with you and take all reasonable precautions to avoid fire risk.

If you fancy a bit quiet time out from the festivities at Nibley Festival, a local pint can be had from The Black Horse Inn, a traditional Cotswold Village Pub in Nibley and an easy stagger back to your tent!  This lovely, welcoming pub with its pretty beer garden is the heart of the village, serves great food and welcomes families. Open late on Friday and Saturday.

We recommend booking a table if you’re eating as they will be very busy over the festival weekend and food serving times vary. 

All campers are required to vacate the Nibley Festival site by 12 noon on Sunday.  Please ensure you take away all your rubbish and personal belongings, and take extra care to remove every single tent peg!  This is a working farm and livestock will be turned out to munch over your sleeping spot very soon...

You should bring the following to Nibley Festival:

• Your coded entry ticket - a screenshot on your phone or device is fine and is more environmentally friendly.
• Your parking pass - you do need to print this though, and display on your dashboard.
• They will have a wide range of food stalls on site but you can bring your own picnic if you wish.  Don't forget your chairs or rug!
• Refillable Water Bottles!  In an effort to be as environmentally friendly as possible, the bar will not be selling plastic bottles of water. All water points on the festival site provide properly tested, safe drinking water.
• Have a stash of 'Nibley' branded cups in your kitchen cupboards from previous events?  Avoid a charge of £1 per cup by reusing them!
• Suncream - keep an eye on the forecast, and have the mac and wellies on stand-by too.
• Proof of age/ID.  If you are 18-25, or blessed with youthful looks, then lucky you but you might be challenged at the bar.

**Re: Money - The festival are moving towards a cashless festival. All of the bars are cashless and most of the food and retail traders would prefer cashless payment. Some of the food and retail traders may accept cash but there will be no cashback facility on site.

Cam Everside Football Team will be in the car park helping folks with luggage, they would appreciate a generous cash tip if you need their help.

You can not bring the following to Nibley Festival:

• NO DOGS, sorry (unless he's a Guide or Assistance dog, working and in harness). No other pets or animals.
• Glass containers or bottles are not permitted anywhere on the festival site, including carpark, camp sites, or arenas. (Glassware within LIV's must remain inside the vehicle.)  Cans and other non-glass containers are permitted.
• Alcoholic drinks:  There will be well stocked bars with a great range of beverages on offer, and the profits raised go to good causes. If you are camping they are allowed in the camp site (cans or cartons only), but you cannot take them through to the main event area.
• NO ALCOHOL may be consumed by any person under the age of 18 years. Security and stewarding teams will be vigilant to camping areas. Anybody under 18 in possession of alcohol will have it confiscated and may be asked to leave the festival.
• Drugs are no more legal at the festival than in the outside world. Illegal substances and legal highs will not be tolerated anywhere on site. This includes nitrous oxide gas, cannabis, and herbal highs. The security teams are authorised to search bags, and will be monitoring all areas of the site, including the campsite, throughout the festival. Anyone caught in possession of, or dealing in, illegal substances can expect to be evicted and processed in accordance with the law.
• Glass (bottles, jars, drinking glasses, etc.), barbeques, fires, generators, fireworks, flares, smoke canisters, air-horns, animals except guide/assistance dogs (working and in harness), unauthorised amplified music or musical instruments and other any other items that the festival considers an unreasonable risk of harm or nuisance.
• Setting off flares in a public place is a criminal offence that carries up to 3 months imprisonment. Anybody caught setting one off will face instant ejection from the festival and prosecution.
• Camping stoves with one small gas canister are permitted on the camping fields. Use is subject to reasonable care and consideration of weather and proximity to tents.
• Any bottles or glassware in caravans or campervans must remain inside the vehicle.
• No bicycles, scooters, knives, poles or other items that could cause harm may be brought onto the festival arena (this excludes the camping areas).

Nibley Festival really focus on bringing you  the best activities for kids of all ages. There is always loads on across the weekend and with the exception of the Ferris Wheel, its all FREE!

Unfortunately we can’t issue you with a refund if you can’t make the event due to work commitments or your mates have dropped out. In these circumstances, we advise passing on your tickets privately to avoid losing out on the money spent. Refunds can only be offered if the event is cancelled or postponed, as agreed upon purchase.

By purchasing a ticket and attending the festival, you are deemed to have agreed to comply with and be bound by these terms. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time so please check back regularly - thanks!

 

Admission to the Festival Site is only permitted at the advertised times, with a correct, valid ticket.  Adult tickets are not valid for teens or children.  Teen tickets are not valid for children.

You must be 18 or over to buy Adult tickets and 21 or over to buy Teen or Child tickets.  Any Teen or Child ticket transaction must either: include at least one Adult ticket, or: be associated (during the checkout process) with the email address of the accompanying responsible adult that is registered on our system. 

Anyone under the age of 18 is expected to arrive at the festival accompanied by an Adult aged 21 years, who is on site, responsible and contactable at all times for the duration. A Challenge 25 policy will be used at the festival entrance so please ensure you have photo ID if you look under 25. Four under-18's per Adult is the maximum permitted. 

Under 4’s do not need a ticket, but will still be issued with a wristband.  Please write your mobile number on all your children's wristbands.

We reserve the right to eject anyone behaving in a way likely to cause damage, injury, nuisance or annoyance, or failing to comply with any reasonable request from a representative of the Festival.

Illegal drugs and legal highs are not tolerated anywhere on site. This includes nitrous oxide gas, cannabis, and herbal highs, all of which can be very dangerous. Such items may be confiscated, and the holder ejected and reported to the police. Please help us keep everyone on site safe.

Campervan pitches are 7m x 6m.  Everything must fit in this space. One small 'pup tent', awning or gazebo is allowed within your pitch but must be 2 meters from neighbouring vehicles if used for sleeping.

A caravan towing car may be parked inside your pitch if it fits. If a towing car leaves site after dropping off a caravan it will not be permitted re-entry to the caravan area until Sunday morning and a separate carpark ticket will need to be purchased if the car is to remain on site.

The Campervan Field is for purpose-built and/or properly converted vans with fitted sleeping, cooking and washing facilities, and a V5 Certificate that recognises that vehicle as such. Caravans and trailer-tents ar permitted, but not just tents. 

Sleeping is not permitted in any vehicle in the Parking Field.

Vehicles are parked at the owners’ risk.

We can take no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal items. We advise you not to leave items of value unattended anywhere on site and particularly not in your tent.

The campsites and carpark must be vacated by 12 noon on Sunday.  All rubbish and personal belongings must be removed. Kindly pay particular attention to tent pegs.

Our licensed bars will only serve alcohol to those aged 18+. Anyone lucky enough to look under 25 years old may be asked for proof of age.

We reserve the right to add, withdraw or substitute artists, and to vary the advertised programme and timings without being liable to pay any compensation whatsoever.

Photographs may be taken for non-commercial use only, at the discretion of the Festival.

Video or audio recording of performances is prohibited without express permission of the Festival.

By attending the festival you give consent for your image, likeness and voice to be included in official promotion of the Festival. If you are attending with a child under 18 years of age you automatically give your consent on their behalf.

Tickets are non-transferable, and the Festival's contract of sale remains exclusively with the original buyer, regardless of onward disposal. Tickets cannot be refunded, nor lost tickets replaced.

Tickets may only be purchased for personal use. No agencies or touts. We will investigate large or suspicious orders and we reserve the right to invalidate the purchase.

We advise you to take all steps necessary to ensure you are safe and well throughout the festival. We are not liable for any illnesses or injuries that you may encounter while participating in the festival.

Nothing within these terms is intended to exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

We are not liable for any indirect, special or consequential loss caused by you attending or being unable to attend the festival.

These terms, and any non-contractual obligations arising hereunder, are governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The English courts have jurisdiction to hear a dispute arising out of or in relation to these terms. If you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, the courts of that country will also have jurisdiction."

Tickets are emailed out a month before the festival.

 

They can be passed on, but the Festival's Contract of sale remains with the original buyer whose name appears on any tickets they've paid for, whether or not they sell them on or give them away.

No. There is no sleeping permitted in the Nibley Festival Car Park.  Aside from Health and Safety implications, this undermines everyone who has paid for their LIV pitch.

You will need an adult ticket for Nibley Festival as well.
