Dumbarton Rocks Festival

Dumbarton Rocks 2026 takes place on Sunday 27th September. 

Dumbarton Rocks goes down at Dunbarton Football Club in Dunbarton.  An after party is planned to run at the Stag's Head pub from 10.30pm - 1 am.  Check out Dunbarton Rocks socials for further details.

Yes. Dumbarton Rocks is for the whole family. However, after 6PM all U14s must leave the venue and all U18s must be accompanied by an adult.

Dumbarton Rocks is Dumbarton’s biggest music and community festival. Celebrating the local community and its offerings from family activities, local food and drinks, and the biggest rising stars.

You are not allowed to bring your own food and drink into Dumbarton Rocks. There will be a wide variety of food and drink stalls inside the festival.

Yes. Dumbarton Rocks is a dog-friendly event. We ask all dogs are on a leash and remain in our outdoor marquee/food court area. Due to the loud music it is not recommended to bring pets for extended periods of time.

By Bus

Multiple local bus services operate throughout the area, providing convenient access to the festival site. The 208 service to Dumbarton East Station (10 minute walk) is one of the most convenient options. Visitors can also alight at stops on Castle Road (15 minute walk) or St. James Retail Park (15 minute walk)

By Train

There are regular ScotRail services from Balloch, Helensburgh, Glasgow Queen Street, Cumbernauld, Airdrie, & Edinburgh Waverley that stop at both Dumbarton East (10 minute walk) & Dumbarton Central (20 minute walk).

By Car

The venue is located at the bottom of Castle Road, under Dumbarton Rock. Parking at the venue is permitted with a Car Park pass, available along with your tickets via Skiddle.

Yes. Parking passes for Dumbarton Rocks are available via Skiddle for £10 +booking fees. Parking is not permitted without a purchased pass.
