There's so many amazing festivals out there but it can be difficult to work out which festivals you're going to attend. There's so many things to take into consideration - the location of the festival, the size of the festival, the genre of music, whether it's family friendly and the type of facilities onsite.
Skiddle's new Festivals Finder is here to make the process that bit easier. Simply use the Festivals Finder's unique festival search, which include options allowing you to search for festivals based on filters such as location; month; genres; type; size; accommodation; amenities and even the artists you've liked on Facebook!
Since 1999, Ricky has been pionnering the breakbeat end of Drum n Bass / Jungle. Based in Dublin, Ireland - he started out with the Bassbin crew and on Power FM pirate radio.
Ricky dabbled in radio broadcasting and promoting DnB in his home town for 6 years - at the demise of both in the late 2000's - he moved to London and in with old friend Fracture where they shared a house previously belonging to Alix Perez and Rockwell, it was there Ricky focused on production, staying true to the original template of the golden era, Ricky quickly rose from strength to strength crafting his music into what is now, a very distinctive sound and style, known worldwide.
Starting off with releases on DSCi4 and 36 Hertz, he's since started his own label "Pressin' Hard Records and releases regularly for labels such as the mighty Reinforced, AKO beats, Skeleton Records and Repertoire.
For the few hours a day when Ricky is not in his studio, you will find him either cooking or running... "I've always had a big passion for cooking and eating good food, it's much like my passion for film - I love everything from Big Mac's to delicately prepared fine dining.. Running definitely keeps me sane, I run every day with no music and in empty areas, it helps me with creativity and is a really good form of meditation."
Ricky has forthcoming releases on Pressin' Hard, Skeleton, AKO and Repertoire before the end of 2017. This has definitely been one of his most successful years to date.
