Skiddle: The UK's biggest guide to festivals

There's so many amazing festivals out there but it can be difficult to work out which festivals you're going to attend. There's so many things to take into consideration - the location of the festival, the size of the festival, the genre of music, whether it's family friendly and the type of facilities onsite.

Skiddle's new Festivals Finder is here to make the process that bit easier. Simply use the Festivals Finder's unique festival search, which include options allowing you to search for festivals based on filters such as location; month; genres; type; size; accommodation; amenities and even the artists you've liked on Facebook!

Autumns is the solo project of Christian Donaghey, from Derry, Northern Ireland; an outlet for high energy, electronic post-punk with a lethal pulse. After a brace of rough demos and without the necessity of preliminary hype the project emerged fully formed on Karl O’Connor’s illustrious label Downwards in 2014, the youngest act in a new vanguard of artists that included the likes of Tropic of Cancer, DVA Damas and Marshstepper. Dealing in a rough trade of transgressive noise, dysfunctional metal dance and DIY punk angst, the project has evolved from the ghoulish, drowned lo-fi productions of the ‘Terrible Tuesday’ Mini LP to the propulsive industrial discord and expansive, glacial spaces of ‘Das Nichts’ & ‘A Product of 30 Years of Violence’, recent releases that have arrived courtesy of Glasgow’s Clan Destine Records (torchbearer for Ela Orleans, Varg and Dirty Beaches amongst others)

Alongside appearances on cult labels the project has developed a notorious live show on the back of support slots for Moon Duo and The KVB, and a recent US tour which saw Donaghey share a bill with Lust For Youth in San Francisco. The performance of a desolate live score to David Lynch’s ‘Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me’ at the Distorted Perspectives festival and an acclaimed collaboration with renowned techno experimentalist Samuel Kerridge at the 2016 edition of Paris Fashion week have followed in their wake, further cementing a reputation for uncompromising spectacle.

Recent mixes for Phormix, Secret Thirteen and Tripalium Corp have added detail to Donaghey's soundworld and pointed towards new developments, with discerning selections ranging from Coil, In Aeternam Vale and Severed Heads to Drexciya and DJ Hell. Fresh from the release of The Immortal Eye compilation - a Downwards label compilation handpicked by Regis and featuring Autumns alongside the likes of DVA Damas, Grebenstein, Seefried & Layne - Autumns is touring throughout 2017 whilst preparing for the release of a debut album co-released by Downwards and Clan Destine Records.
