Tynedale Beer and Cider Festival takes place at Tynedale Rugby Football Club, Corbridge

By car

The club lies in Corbridge - 17 miles west of Newcastle, 40 miles east of Carlisle, 3 miles east of Hexham. Corbridge is just off the A69 which runs east-west from Newcastle upon Tyne to Carlisle, and the A68 which runs north-south from Edinburgh to Darlington. The rugby ground is on the south side of the river Tyne. From the north, go over the bridge and bear left onto the B6529. After 300yds bear left onto Station Road and follow to the end where the club entrance is on your left.

By bus

No. 685 Carlisle – Newcastle service, about hourly in each direction, stops at the roundabout on the south side of the river, and the no.10 Hexham – Newcastle service, about every 20 minutes in each direction, stops close to the end of Station Road

By train

There is a good service between Newcastle and Carlisle stopping at Corbridge. The station is right outside the rugby groundBy air:Newcastle International Airport is about 20 miles from Corbridge. There is a frequent Metro train service into Newcastle Central Station from where you can take the train to Corbridge 

Yes, there is camping available at Tynedale Beer and Cider festival.

There’s plenty of space in a designated area for tents, campervans and caravans, and showers and toilets are available.

Campers can also enjoy cooked breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday morning  from some of our caterers in the Food Court.

You can bring your own alcohol and food into the campsite but not into the festival area.

Please do not use BBQ’s unless they are supported above the ground so that heat and ash cannot damage the grass. You are camping on sports pitches so please respect them. There are plenty of waste bins around the park, so please deposit all waste into them.

There is a disabled toilet within the Clubhouse. The Clubhouse is accessed via a ramp (fitted with a handrail) from the car park area. All doors have sufficient clearance for wheel chair access into the toilet. A key is not required. The toilet is fitted with an emergency alarm.

• Assistance dogs are welcome and water can be provided upon request. 

• Assistance for people who cannot read the programme to understand what 

beers are available and fetch beers for people if necessary.

upon request.

Unfortunately we can’t issue you with a refund if you can’t make the event due to work commitments or your mates have dropped out. In these circumstances, we advise passing on your tickets privately to avoid losing out on the money spent.

Refunds can only be offered if the event is cancelled or postponed, as agreed upon purchase.
