'Tusk' are an alternative rock three piece based in Swansea, Wales, Formed in late 2011, the band mixes a wide range of influences to create a unique style, combining loud fuzz guitars, hypnotic bass lines, powerful drums, and catchy vocal harmonies.

Inspired by bands such as the Smashing Pumpkins, Dinosaur Jr, Pavement, and The Cure, 'Tusk' set-out to fill what they saw as a gap in the market in the current music scene.

After some initial line-up changes, they soon settled on the trio of Chris Noir (vocals and guitar), Jonathan Williams (drums) and Ryan Lloyd ( bass and vocals) and began writing an array of songs that would appeal to a broad range of audiences, effectively fusing raw power with melody.

Now playing shows week in, week out across South Wales and beyond, 'Tusk' have recently been into the prestigious Abertawe Road Studios to record their debut EP, expected for release in early 2013.

With their unique style, and memorable live performances, 'Tusk' are a band not to be missed.
