RTKAL is a 21 year old Birmingham born artist who now resides in London’s East End. Going from tong-in-cheek whit to tales of gritty city life whilst moving through eclectic sounds of heavy bass, hard hip hop whilst embracing his Jamaican heritage this lyrical heavy weight likes to describe his sound as Skunk Rock.

Starting out as part of Prophecy Cru and moving on to be a founder member of the Decypher Collective at the age of 16, RTKAL been a regular feature on the MC scene in both Birmingham and across the U.K ever since. A rapper, actor and spoken word artist in his own right, RTKAL has moved from working with the likes of Don Letts and Skinnyman to touring with GZA as part of the Mud Family and being a regular host of numerous dubstep/grime nights under the name of RTillery.

Following on from his ‘48 Hours’ mixtape release on SBTV this summer RTKAL has a new EP coming out in February 2013 on the most talked about independent record label, Black Butter Records.
