Little Devils were formed in 2010 - they play 21st century blues – songs from the new dust bowl.
In 2010, their first CD "This is how it starts...” was reviewed by Blues in Britain who commented on "Dylan-like word play and fine musicianship”. Blues Matters said the album was “a relief from the predictability that pervades modern day music - for once the lyrics to the songs are well worth a read –Yoka, the Dutch Diva, a charismatic performer who is well worth catching live …”
In 2011 little devils went on to win Best Live Band by Playmusic Magazine Awards. they said “little devils were bringing new things to the blues...touches of the Blockheads, Attractions and classic R&B energy and FUN.. mixing into great original new blues songs…".
In 2012, little devils were finalists in the New Brunswick Battle of the Blues 2012. Performance reviews were very enthusiastic. Blues Matters said “little devils took to the stage to play 21st century blues, all their own very original songs which was a plus! - creating a new sound, taking the blues into new territories. The main highlight was the extraordinary performance of their lead singer, Yoka, her vocal performance would prove to be the best of the evening”
