Country superstar from Lexington, Kentucky. Vocalist in two bands: the bluegrass ensemble the SteelDrivers and the rock band the Jompson Brothers. His debut solo album, Traveller (2015), peaked at number 1 in the US Billboard 200 and received septuple platinum certification.
Has written and co-written for a huge number of other artists such as Kenny Chesney, George Strait, Adele, Kelly Clarkson, Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran.
Stapleton has received 11 Grammy Awards, 11 ACM Awards and 15 CMA Awards.
