Bonzai Bonner is the single creative force behind SHOOT YOUR SHOT, a highly successful Glasgow-based club event where she occupies the multi-faceted role of curator, DJ, performer and host.

Her "Shoot Your Shot" parties started as a celebration of all things Italo but quickly evolved into a truly 'anything goes' party more focused on bringing the freedom, energy and most importantly the fun of after parties and raves back into the club spaces. This spirit has kept through to the satellite multi-artform club extravaganza, Weirdo Warehouse and LEZZER QUEST parties making them some of the hottest dates in the calendar!

SYS has delivered a surprising and thrilling programme of DJs, live performances and distinctive happenings. The night is now counted among an exclusive group of nationally recognised club events pushing political boundaries around vital feminist & LGBTQI+ issues in clubbing.

Bonzai Bonner’s sets flip the heat squarely down into rave beat basement zones. Multiple primitive chants layered with dense percussion, heady interludes of deep bleep house, positively bursting with buzzing electro bass and whip crack hi-nrg snares.
