MC SAS has become one of Northwest biggest names in Drum & Bass working with legends from the minute he picked up a microphone begging in 1997 with Chemistry and Storm. Carving his mark on the early Manchester and Liverpool Drum and Bass Scene Curtis Holligan aka MC SAS / Talking Drums has possibly played with them all and is known for being a major influence on the North West UK's scene and beyond, as far-reaching as Austria.

2011 seen MC SAS at the BBC’S legendary Maida Vale and Abbey Road Recording Studios after being shortlisted by BBC Introducing's Dave Monks who selected as one of his early forays into production as one of the tracks of the year. ''One Of Those Days’ was released as a free download and the inspiration lead to the launch of Sleep Less Records in 2011 to go on to be nominated for the Best New label Category 2013 at the Drum & Bass Awards.

Although more comfortable on stage than online, sneak peeks of his flows have been spotted online on his facebook page and the Brapp freestyle App and tweeted by the likes of Foreign Beggars, Shogun Audio and Brapp TV, when a 16 bar taste of his freestyles was uploaded to the App.

Word is already spreading about SAS’s new lyrical Collab with Austrian Producer Wingz, entitled 'Parasites''. which will be the first release in what is looking to be a busy year for the veteran.

There has already been a surge of emails from promoters booking MC SAS for limited dates in 2018.
