Without a doubt, Festival No. 6 is one of the most beautiful festivals on the circuit. Nestled in amongst the unique sandy beaches and palm trees of the Portmeirion coastline, Festival No.6 plays host to one of the most eclectic line ups undertaken by any festival, and this year's edition on 13th-15th September will be no different.

Festival No.6 2012 Highlights

With everything from rock and roll to electronica, funk to folk, seashanties to Welsh male voice choirs making an appearance, Festival No. 6 is literally crammed with treats for you to discover. Some of the acts headlining include James Blake, Tricky, My Bloody Valentine, Manic Street Preachers, Chic & Nile Rodgers, Daughter, Mount Kimbie, Johnny Marr, Frankie Knuckles, Norman Jay, Carl Craig, Andrew Weatherall, Daddy G, Justin Robertson, and Crazy P to name a few. The impressive bill simply oozes class, making Festival No.6 the envy of its peers.

Beyond the staggering music lineup, expect to be dazzled by and arts and cultural lineup (head here for more info) that includes cinema screenings, street theatre, prose and poetry readings, midnight masquerades, cliff-top comedy stages, secret parties, and even cultural lectures and debates.

Beyond cerebral enjoyment too, there are as whole host of opportunities to get physical and make the most of the stunning Welsh countryside - wild swimming, zorbing, clay pigeon shooting and archery are all on offer.

Definitely catering for those that are after more than your average bog standard festival fayre, Festival No.6 provides one of the most exciting and original escapes from reality you’re like to encounter, in a magical paradisaic setting that will have you gobsmacked.
