Gyms Given the ambiguity of London weather, it’s always nice to know there are student friendly gyms dotted throughout the capital. Though make sure you check out your university’s facilities beforehand! More often than not their prices will always beat those of the commercial and independent gyms. City of Westminster College and University of Londonprovide great fitness services for their students, and so too does Kings College London with their gym Kinetic Fitness Club. If you feel the need to get away from campus, check out the student prices offered by chain Fitness First or the smaller women’s only Sequin Park, who like many gyms have free trial periods. Make sure to enquire before signing on the dotted line! Also in Islington is Fitspace, which is relatively cheap and demands no joining fee. parklife If you’re not so keen on exercising indoors, London has so many great parks - from the well known Hyde Park and Green Park to South London’s Battersea Park and East London’s Victoria Park.
