Tommy Miahs Raj Hotel is the newest addition to the Raj Empire. Located in trendy Islington the hotel is perfect for weekend and city breaks. The hotel has in Indian theme with a tea room and bar on the ground floor serving a mixture of exotic teas and liqueurs. The rooms are all furnished in a modern take of the Indian style. With Indian canopy beds and modern luxurious bathrooms it makes an ideal base for site seeing or bar hopping in London. It's also ideally located for getting into the centre of London as its a short work from the hotel to the Angel tube station. There you can get the tube to London's South Bank (takes about 10 minutes) or the bus to Oxford Street or Soho. Its a short walk to the Sadler's Wells Theatre and a quick bus ride to The British Museum where you can see the vast collections of Egyptian, Greek and Roman artefacts including such things as The Rosetta Stone and Cleopatra's mummy.
