The location was great (just under 3 miles away) on arrival the staff were very friendly and helpful, even checking where we had aprked our car so we didn't get a ticket (after reading previous reviews I can only assume that those people who said staff were rude and unhelpful were so infact themselves). Yes the decor is a bit tired but really, for the price you pay what do people expect?. i would definately stay here again if I was going on a night out at Ministry and would recommend it to my friends. | |||||||||||||||

 George | Review of Peckham Lodge Overall rating:  I was discusted at the way we were treated and the state of the room, after arriving we were informed that there had been a leak and that our room was unavailable so we were put in a part of the hotel that had not been renovated , there was mould all over the walls, big dark marks over the floors and the bath room was discusting it was a shared bathroom when i had requested a ensuite and paid accordingly for one! there were herion addicts down the hall from us need i say more??the man on the desk was extremely unhelpful and i feel after paying for a service the least they could do was try to help us as they leak was of no fault of ours.i will not not be recommending this to anyone else i feel very let down as the other reviews were good and i have photos that are a stark contrast to the ones shown on the website! | |||||||||||||||

| C Goodwin | Review of Peckham Lodge i forgot to add that the staff were not very good as they cannot seem to grasp the english language very well, and somehow managed to have 2 rooms booked in my name when I had only booked one and took absolutely ages to sort this out. I would not recommend this hotel. they have a very smart, clean, tidy image in their rooms which is not backed up by the service and the breakfast they serve !! | |||||||||||||||

| C Goodwin | Review of Peckham Lodge Overall rating: whilst the rooms are very modern and smart - we could not use the television as there was no remote in the room and the set could not be switched on any other way - there was no promised hair drier and you couldnt open the windows - so we cooked !!!! the bed, furniture, shower, toilet etc., were immaculate, but the breakfast was a complete waste of time. toast - which I couldnt eat as I am gluten free, and only 2 cereals to choose from which I dont like, orange juice and tea/coffee - so all I had for breakfast was orange juice and a cup of tea !!! I'd rather have a cheaper room with no breakfast and get breakfast in the weatherspoons down the road which we did !!!! | |||||||||||||||

But our room was out of the main hotel, we had to share a bathroom with three other rooms. normally this wouldnt be a problem but the people who we were sharing with lived there whilst they were waiting for an avaliable hostel. the bathroom was very unclean and the residents smoked in it. our room was very basic and there were a lot of other people hanging round in the corridors which were very intimidating and made us feel uncomfortable. Also during our overnight we were woken in the early hours of the morning by people shouting and banging. i just felt that that you should be made aware if they are going to put you in one of these rooms, as i was under the impression that we were going to be in the main hotel, and i felt it was ridiculous that we paid £38 to stay in what was a very basic room, and to practically be frightened by residents, whilst others who were staying in that part of the building are there free of charge whilst they are waiting to go to a hostel. I just feel that they should have to let you know what your in for if your going into one of these rooms! | |||||||||||||||
