Despite the Hacienda only being open, on and off for 15 years, the legacy it has left behind on clubbing in the UK remains monumental. Inspiring a generation of artists, nurturing a scene where before there was none, and still defining the future of clubbing, there's no doubting the historical importance of The Hacienda.

Despite permanently shutting its Whitworth street doors back in June '97, the brand lives on, instigating major parties across the UK with as much passion as ever. The 18th of April sees The Hacienda return to Sankeys Manchester, with a mammoth line up of DJs in tow that helped mark its importance in the world of clubbing.

This Is Graeme Park: Radio Show Podcast w/e 15MAR14 by Graeme Park on Mixcloud

Equally as important to the evolution of dance music in the UK is Graeme Park, who sunk his teeth into the nascent house music scene from the US, and successfully brought it to the confines of Fac 51. Check out his latest radio podcast above for a thrilling blend of brand new beats and stone cold classics.

Greg Wilson too will be called upon for one his infectiously brilliant old skool sets, crammed with his own exclusive edits and unique use of reel to reel tape that has seen him in demand at some of the biggest music festivals in the country. Jon Da Silva, Justin Robertson, Hewan Clark, Herbie Saccani and Russ round off one of Hacienda's biggest line up for a long while, back in the city where it all began. Expect a massive turn out for this one.
