This most conveniently located 18 bedroom family hotel was built in the 18th century by John Evans and named after the Duke of Gloucester. William Pitt and many other celebrated residents have stayed at 23 Gloucester Place. The hotel has been consistently and carefully upgraded to maintain its historical value while providing modern day comforts. Individually designed rooms have en-suite facilities, direct dial phones with modem attachment, hospitality trays etc. Some rooms have 4 Poster Beds while others are large 4 Bedded Rooms. One Room has been divided into two, to create a self contained suite ideal for a family with older children. In addition the hotel has a cosy and nicely appointed dining room, where a choice of English and continental breakfast is served. Responsible use of Laundry and kitchen facilities is permitted.
