Easily one of the most anticipated festivals on the UK circuit, Manchester's Parklife is once again gearing up to take over Heaton Park on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th June.
A festival once famous for it's primarily dance music offering, the focus has broadened over recent years, with 2018 featuring a solid array of live music acts alongside a line up absolutely packed with world class DJ talent. Parklife has also ramped up the production in recent years, having introduced the acclaimed Palm House stage last year, as well as new immersive areas throughout the site.
With a staggering list of artists from across the genres to choose from, we've hand selected five artists that we think will be worth your time over the huge weekender.
Liam Gallagher
The one and only Liam Gallagher returns to his hometown for what is set to be one of the headline sets of the season. Having experienced a meteoric - if not slightly unexpected - comeback after his debut solo album As You Were went straight to number 1, Liam takes on Heaton Park, and he'll no doubt don it.
Following his tour, we're expecting a set filled with absolute anthems, including solo tracks as well as Oasis classics, and what better place to hear them than at a headline set at his city's biggest festival.

Nina Kraviz

Master of big festival and club crowds, Nina Kraviz is consistently powerful and enthralling in her approach to DJing. Championing hot-and-heavy techno tracks and acid or trance-laced beats, expect to get sweaty, captivated and bewitched by one of dance music's biggest names.

Four Tet

Somewhat of an anomaly within dance music, Kieran Hebden, better known by the moniker Four Tet, is widely regarded as one of the most respected and critically acclaimed producers of our time. His own productions are pure ambience, awash with juddering basslines and obscure samples.
As a selector, his encyclopedic knowledge of pretty much every genre is unrivalled. We'll be sure to catch this master at work on the stunning Palm House stage this year at Parklife.

Marco Carola

Commander of the rolling groove and pounding bassline, Carola's rise over the past decade to one of the worlds very best has been meteoric.
Whether slaying stadiums or headlining festivals, his relentless sound has won him thousands of global acolytes, a sea of ravers ready to stomp to his irresistable brand of solid tech house every time.

Mabel
Find Mabel tickets
Following a breakthrough 2017 with her single 'Finders Keepers', Mabel has been cementing her status as one of pop's most refreshing and compelling starlets. Her newest releases 'Fine Line' with Not3s and 'Cigarette' with RAYE and Stefflon Don have been bothering the charts and rooting their catchy melodies deep within our heads.
A natural stage performer, Mabel has also opened for Harry Styles on his UK tour, so take a break at Heaton Park for the ultimate fusion of summer-soaked pop and dreamy R&B.
