A superb evening in the uniquely atmospheric surroundings of a former chapel. Intimate in terms of smallish audience, but large enough to enjoy Martyn's stage presence. As usual Martyn sang great songs and had excellent interaction with his audience

What a fantastic evening. Martyn was amazing. He's such a talented songwriter and guitarist, his voice is as good as it's always been. My husband has never heard his stuff before and was also equally impressed. The acoustics in the chapel at The Convent were good and the audience participation was fun. I can't believe how quickly the time passed.

The band were very good. i like the fact that Ian seems to play what he wants and likes to take the audience with him, rather than just playing the same safe set. the venue isn't so good. the acoustics aren't great, there parking is poor and the ticket prices are a bit steep for the quality of the venue. so i recommend the band but not the venue.

First time visit to The Convent to see a show and what a great venue choice it was. I have seen Ian Siegal before both acoustic and with the band and have yet to be disappointed. It was an excellent show with Ian only playing songs that he had written over the last 25 years. If you can catch this band when near you- sometime during the next 25 years!
