Turin Brakes were sublime as always. I've seen them several times in different venues and I genuinely feel that the Convent Chapel gave their performance a truly atmospheric edge. Awesome band and venue. Hope they play there again!

Hadn't been to The Convent before, but had seen Turin Brakes many times before. The venue was fantastic, great bar area and the chapel where the gig took place was fantastic. Great acoustics and lighting and suited the band to perfection. Turin Brakes themselves were on top form and having first seen them in 2001 it's always great to see the new ways they perform the old classics. The band are just really enjoying themselves at the moment and it shows. Top work all round

Turin Brakes were terrific - as always. Sound quality superb - it is a great venue. Support act Little Tin Soldier was really good as well.

Fantastic venue, the natural acoustics gave Kasim's vocals an 'extra sparkle'! Kasim's set was a perfect blend of his own solo compositions and other Utopia/Rundgren classic songs along with other projects and artist he has been involved with over his career. Great entertainer - as a performer myself, he has always been an inspiration both vocally and as a musician. I feel privileged to have seen him at such a lovely venue.

A really excellent evening. A chance to see someone you don't often see in the UK and for many a major component of more than one iconic bands - not least Utopia. Kasim was in good voice and the mix of his own material with that of Utopia and Todd Rundgren, worked very well. Glad I got to see it.

An amazing singer at an amazing venue! Kasim's voice is, and has always been magical ! Last night he didn't disappoint his loyal UK following. A great mix of his solo work, with some Utopia, Todd, and even Blue Oyster Cult ! Q & A quiz with audience, prizes, laughs....What's not to like? The venue....well we explored with mouths wide open...too unusual to describe here, but if you get a chance to visit, DO ! Just a little chilly in the chapel, but the open fires in the bar area made up for that. :) Brad x

A barnstorming performance from a "lite" Merry Hell line up (if you can call a 6 piece "lite") of the four **ttles, Nick Davies and Neil McCartney that shows that, even semi-acoustic, this band is one of the finest high energy, rabble rousing outfits on the UK music scene today. Absolutely brilliant!

It was an enjoyable evening of music and humour, and was a real pleasure to meet Dave and Anthony. It was our first time at this very unusual - in a good way! - venue, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. We will be back!
