Review of Moana - Exeter Drive-In Cinema
Overall we loved it, however we had thought that the sound would be on an in car radio station to tune into rather than the silent disco headphones which made it a little less comfortable than expected. Also it was not clear that the cars were being sorted by size, and as we arrived first we felt frustrated that so many people went straight in before us. When we asked and found out it why, it was fine and we understood, but a couple of signs for example saying 'small cars', 'medium size cars', 'tall vehicles' would have stopped us and many others feeling frustrated at having to wait when we had arrived first. Another small point is the upward slope of the field made it difficult and uncomfortable to see for those in the back of the car. If we were allowed to sit beside the car as advertised you can at other venues we also would not have been able to see the screen sitting down due to the slope. If the screen had been the opposite end of the field I believe the view would have been much better.

Review of Moana - Exeter Drive-In Cinema
My 2 young boys & I enjoyed the film but essentially it was just a big screen in a field! Nobody checked my ticket, to the point that when I tried to show a member of staff who was handing out headphones, he replied "I don't need to see that". Lots of things that were advertised were missing - no staff in costumes, no retro signage/music/adverts, and no refreshments (the latter was particularly disappointing, as I didn't give my boys lunch beforehand with the expectation of feeding them upon arrival at the venue). The sound for the film was provided via headphones, rather than through my radio as specified on the website - the headphones were too big for my 3 year old and mine only worked in 1 ear (although this didn't detract hugely from the experience). Also, due to the current coronavirus pandemic, the website stated that toilets would be cleaned between each use but this did not happen at all. Finally, at departure, all cars attempted to leave at the same time with no direction from staff beyond them hap-hazardly approaching cars to retrieve headphones in no particular order. An enjoyable event for my children and well organised for the arrival of traffic but I was disappointed by the lack of extras that were advertised.

Review of Grease - Drive-In Cinema Exeter
The experience was completely ruined for me by the use of headphones instead of tuning in to a radio station for the audio. Considering I have been extremely strict throughout the covid19 pandemic I felt violated having to use headphones and would not have booked this event if this had been advertised.
One set of headphones was faulty and were changed with no problem.
The screening started over 30 minutes late due to techichal difficulties.
The sound for the next movie (Dirty Dancing) started to play over the top of the audio for Grease part way through.
It was advertised that there would be refreshments availble for purchase, there were none.
Aside from that the stewards did a good job and the sceen was clearly visible from where we were i structed to park.

Review of Dirty Dancing - Exeter Drive-In Cinema
Very friendly staff, Good as client service as there was a technical difficulty and I've received two free tickets for future events as compensation! Just a great night out for families, friends, or couples! Highly recommend going at least once to be able to check drive-in cinema off the bucket list!!

Review of Grease - Drive-In Cinema Exeter
We had a really great evening and would do it again, however saying that a few things I would point out
I purchased two tickets as thought we need one each, this was totally my error as it clearly states that 1 ticket per car but I hadn’t read this and then when it asks for number of tickets I assumed we needed one per person and as it didn’t ask me for a 2nd car reg I took this as being correct, as I say this is my error but something to maybe make clearer when purchasing.
It states people there will be dressed up and food and snacks can be purchased but neither were there, this didn’t ruin my experience but was disappointed to find non of the things advertised where there

Review of Dirty Dancing - Exeter Drive-In Cinema
A great experience but unfortunately technical hitch did occur meaning a part of the film was cut out. Although disappointing we did receive an apology. All in all a great new experience.
