Review of Dirty Dancing - Exeter Drive-In Cinema
Did enjoy myself, no popcorn like said. Sound was through wireless which isn’t a problem but film did buffer half way through and I’m sure we ended up missing 20-30 mins of it. I actually don’t know why jonny didn’t turn up to the last dance

Review of Grease - Drive-In Cinema Exeter
The film itself was great, well-organised parking up and signs to venue.
Downsides, the film started 40 mins late due to technical issues. And there was a further issue halfway through when they suddenly started playing the soundtrack to the next film over the top.
Exiting was also a bit chaotic and they could have done with more marshalls to direct cars.
But overall it was a really great experience and we enjoyed it and thought it was good value as there were 5 of us.

Review of Grease - Drive-In Cinema Exeter
Was a lovely evening, but expectations from website didn't match up on the night... was expecting sound to come through car stereo but we were given earphones, staff weren't dressed up and there was no food stalls... but we still had a lovely time . thank you

Review of Grease - Drive-In Cinema Exeter
No refreshments as advertised, technical issue meant that we waited an hour and 40 minutes for the film to start and there was little communication from the organisers about this. Given headphones to listen which were very uncomfortable and not tuning into the radio as advertised. Overall very disappointing and overpriced

Lovely event organised well! Despite a technical difficulty we all had a brilliant time and would absolutely love to go again. Would definitely recommend to anyone else.

Review of Dirty Dancing - Exeter Drive-In Cinema
Good venue and food visibility of film however their was a technical hitch at a crucial point in the storyline and the film stopped, when they restated it, it had missed a chunk of the film so unless you’d seen it before, you may not of been able to piece together what had happened.

Review of Moana - Exeter Drive-In Cinema
Overall I am left feeling what I paid £40 for! No retro experience what so ever! None of the entertainment as advertised! No 50’s music, no staff dressed up, no snacks or drinks sold to your car! You don’t tune your car radio to listen to the movie, instead it’s headphones which are uncomfortable, if you have glasses, to wear and had crackling noises in them for a lot of the quite moments!
It is literally just drive into a field and watch a screen with no extras what so ever!
The only good thing is Moana is a great movie!

Review of Grease - Drive-In Cinema Exeter
My first experience of drive in movies was enjoyable overall but not without problems.
1. The sound was provided via headphones , not as advertised via the car radio.
2. The sound quality was poor and I struggled to hear the dialogue but the music was ok. I wear hearing aids which were physically incompatible with the headphones so I had to remove them but the maximum volume on the headphones was not enough to compensate.
3 .I got loud crackles frequently - my wife did not get the same problem so it may have been that my headphones were faulty. We did turn off our phones and other devices as instructed but I am not sure everyone did.
4. The film did not start until 18:35 (we arrived at 17:00) due to a "technical error". No information was provided.
5. There was no sign of any of the advertised refreshments being available
6. Nobody checked our ticket so anyone could have driven in without paying. Slightly annoying because the only way to get the barcode was to install the Skiddle App which I will probably never use again
Despite these major issues we enjoyed the movie and the atmosphere was great.

Review of Dirty Dancing - Exeter Drive-In Cinema
It was a shame there was a technical difficulty, as this resulted in part of the film being skipped & missed. I now have to buy the dvd to show my children the whole film.
Overall, it was a good experience & one which we would do again.

Review of Dirty Dancing - Exeter Drive-In Cinema
It was an ok experience, but could have been so much better,.
So disappointing due to having to wear headphones, and ignore my partner for 80 mins. the ad said tune into our unique fm station.
so headphones were a bit rubbish to be fair, also having to listen to the interference of mobile phones beeping was just ace, and the fact at least 20 mins of film being cut out so the venue could Finish on time was definitely value for money NOT...
I can see that if could have be brilliant, but our experience was just ok.
We might go to another one but at £38 per car, it’s jolly expensive for 1/2 a film and cracking beeping headphones.. I would give it 3/10.
