It goes without doubt that birthday shindigs always cut it as the most memorable, when everyone involved from day one to people picked up along the way can come together and celebrate the club night's current successes. Shut That Sh*t Down turn two on Friday 6th March, and bring a drum&bass extravaganza to central London for the first time ever at The Qube Project.
Shut That Sh*t Down are renowned as traders of high grade drum&bass in the capital, frequenting London spaces in East London and Brixton with selectors such as Fabio, Kenny Ken and Randall, representing the benchmark they have set for drum&bass affairs in the big smoke.
A favourite of the STSD soirees and genre figurehead Grooverider returns to the club night to lead the birthday celebrations. For years he's dominated the drum&bass movement with his unmatched ability behind the decks, evidenced in the mix above.
Elsewhere on the milestone billing is Bailey, formerly appearing on the likes of seminal imprint Metalheadz, multi influenced Ray Keith drawing from his mighty dub library and legendary selector Brian Gee amongst a bunch of others to get your teeth stuck into. Tickets available here.
