While Deadmau5 takes care of proceedings on the terrace, we spend a night in the main room with Eddie Halliwell, Mat Zo and Adam Sheridan.

Voted 'Best Club of the Last 25 Years' by Mixmag, Cream has somewhat of a reputation to uphold. But judging from their packed out monster events and line ups set for Amnesia this summer, then that shouldn’t be a problem.

Adam Sheridan was first up, rocking a packed main room, controlling the crowd via his Apple Mac from the DJ booth way up high, preaching down his trance sound to the adoring masses below. When he dropped the luscious vocal of Skylar’s ‘Coming Home’ the place erupted.

Next up at 2am was Eddie Halliwell, who had the crowd jumping and bouncing off the walls. Fire It Up he most certainly did. Eddie’s set was full of massive riffs, horns, old skool breakdowns, thumping build ups and acapellas, it had the lot. He played Swedish House Mafia – ‘Save The World’, understandably one of the biggest tracks on the island. Then he had the place shaking to Kraftwerk – ‘Music Non Stop’ (Mason's Superkraft). Next up was a new remix of the classic Green Velvet – ‘Flash’ by Nicky Romero, which nearly blew the roof off (a track that ALWAYS sends any room nuts). Finally, Marco V’s ‘Unprepared’ track sent the main room crowd wild. When Eddie finished at 4am Mat Zo, a relative young newcomer on the scene continued through till past 6am on a similar note, with his biggest track by far being Depeche Mode – ‘Personal Jesus’ (Eric Prydz Mix).

One can feel the beat from Amnesia from far away, it is without doubt one of the loudest soundsystems in the world. And with massive stacks of speakers littering the dancefloor, you can literally feel the beats pumping against your heart. On top of this, there’s massive ice cannons which blast cold air at regular intervals to cool the masses.

There’s more to come throughout the season, with Paul Van Dyk playing a host of dates, as well as guests such as Above & Beyond, Sander Van Doorn, Gareth Wyn, John O’Callaghan and Ferry Corsten plus more.

Cream Ibiza @ Amnesia – if you like banging trance, up for it crowd, fireworks, ice cannons, amazing hot dancers then this is the night for you!
