Lancaster's premier open-air music festival, Highest Point has announced new dates for its huge comeback event this year.

Now scheduled to run from Friday 3rd - Saturday 4th September, the popular live music festival will make its long-awaited return to the stunning grounds of Williamson Park, celebrating its belated third anniversary event with a variety of live performances from some of musics biggest, chart-topping names.

The dedicated organisers behind the two-day event, who have worked tirelessly with their partners at Lancaster City Council to secure the dates in September, have given assurances that the majority of artists previously confirmed to appear on the sadly abandoned date this May, will remain on their allocated days.

Amongst the headliners on the festivals spectacular lineup this year, are the likes of tattooed baritone legend Rag'n'Bone Man, singer-songwriters Becky Hill and Ella Eyre, drum n bass heavyweight Wilkinson, and multi-award-winning festival favourites, Rudimental.

More details are due to be released this Friday (12th March), with the Highest Point team also said to be preparing some additional, extra special announcements.
