The Gallery is back!

That's right, Friday nights at The Ministry of Sound are back after a five-week hiatus, and they're starting 2011 as they mean to go on with a programme of awesome bookings that will set the precedent for an incredible year of hedonistic weekends. 

Here's how things are shaping up at The Gallery over the next month or so:

Friday 21st January

Gareth Emery

Who better to re-start the party wagon than GARETH EMERY. The Garuda head honcho brings his 'Northern Lights' concert to Ministry. A three hour melodic session, also showcasing the best from Emery's acclaimed new album. Joining Gareth will be Marco V, who'll be giving that soundsystem an abrupt awakening with a three hour tech trance assault.

Friday 28th January

Cosmic Gate 'Back 2 The Future'

As time travels at seemingly warp nine speed into the end of the month, there is no harm looking back at years gone by. Enter COSMIC GATE, with their new album, featuring brand new mixes of classic anthems – FireWire, 'Exploration Of Space' and 'The Drums' et al. Along with the conventional cutting edge trance, this will be something special. JOHN O CALLAGHAN also adds to the party, continuing where he left off in November.

Friday 4th February

Markus Shulz's Birthday

What better excuse for a party, than to celebrate the birth of MARKUS SCHULZ - MOS's superstar international resident. We don't want to give too much away, but look out for some VERY special surprises. Not forgetting the all important tunes, Schulz's driving beats providing a suitably banging birthday. Joining the birthday boy in the box will be Andy Moor and Jonas Sternberg.

Friday 11th

Judge Jules

All rise for JUDGE JULES, still going strong after fifteen years. Our monthly residency the perfect platform to cement his place in the DJ Mag 'Top 20.' Expect a devastating blend of new anthems with those tried and tested classics. Then two tech trance titans, SIMON PATTERSON and MARCEL WOODS – both with their tougher take on melodic affairs. UMMET OZCAN finishes off with a first MOS experience, the remix of Jules' 'Verano Loco' proving his production credentials.

Friday 18th February

John 00 Fleming

It's always a pleasure to welcome J00F. Riding high after last February's Essential Mix, he was recognised in Radio One's annual awards. It's no wonder, with his sharp sound bringing trance bang up to date. Joining him will be the original tech temptress, LISA LASHES. With her harder sound refined with breaks and techno, this eclectic take is loved by The Gallery faithful. We then say G'day to tyDi, jetting in from down under to cause some more MOS messiness! Then a fitting end, CLAUDIA CAZACU with her debut compilation launch. From deep and heavy tech – right through to spine tingling trance. Girl power indeed...

Paul Van Dyk

PAUL VAN DYK. These are three words synnonymous with the birth of trance. As the scene has evolved, Paul has remained at the forefront – developing his sound whilst still keeping that raw emotion and energy. This has been key to Van Dyk's success, standing proud at No. 6 in the 'Top 100' after two previous triumphs. Supporting will be Egyptian hotshots ALY & FILA, their sun kissed trance pefect for setting the evening's melodic tone.
