Following the release of her breathtaking new single 'Begging For Thread', LA starlet BANKS has announced she will be making the trip across the Atlantic for a select number of UK dates including her highest profile gig to date at Brixton's O2 Academy.
The UK tour follows a statewide North American tour along with impressive appearances at this years Coachella and Roskilde festivals, starting at Birmingham's institute on the 11th November before rounding up at Manchester's Ritz on the 25th.
'Begging For Thread' is an on the pulse production destined for the chart heavens, already rocketing to number seven in the US iTunes chart, racking up over half a million plays in its first week. The compelling track derived from BANKS debut album Goddess features mesmeric electro pop that boasts soothing yet paradoxically charged vocal leanings.
The accompanying video produced by Jesse Rogge and Tim Anderson (above) is the perfect appendage to the new single, the simplistic yet effective visuals concentrate on BANKS, featuring an affinity of males powerless to the goddess, perfectly encompassing the song whilst avoiding the pitfall of detracting from the tremendous vocal lead electro pop, which has gained over 20 million Spotify plays.
