Very nice hotel, very clean. Room was perfect size, lovley showering facilities, only down side was a rock hard uncomfortable mattess so didn't sleep much, great value for money tho and very helpful staff.! Could of done with more milk an suger on the tea making tray :-)) x

Attended a concert at the The Academy so this hotel was within an easy 15 mins walk away. The room was basic but clean and the bed was comfy. Staff very helpful. Would definately book again.

I was suggested this hotel when I searched the internet for hotels close to Manchester's 02 Apollo, where I reviewed a show the night of my stay. I was therefore a little disappointed to find out that to get to the venue I would have to walk 20 minutes. However, the reception staff at the hotel were very friendly and quickly arranged a taxi for me. The room was spacious and the bed quite comfortable (I usually don't sleep much when away from home).

Just a note for those thinking of booking through a website such as skiddle - when I booked through them, I was told the cost of my stay would be 61 pounds, when I checked into the hotel they charged me 65, though the difference was quickly refunded.

The hotel is a very short distance from Oxford Road station so suitable for commuters in the area.

Had a really pleasant stay at the ibis Manchester, the location was superb the staff were very pleasant and the rooms were comfortable with excellent showering facilities, would definetley recommend anybody who is looking to stay on a budget to staying at this venue.

Great Hotel, Extremely helpful staff. I had lost my details for an event I was attending and the receptionist was kind enough to use the computer to search 'Google Maps' and find me directions, then give me a map with locations marked down for me. As a two star hotel I wasn't expecting what I walked into, a huge double bed, a giant shower, and the room was pristine, not a speck of dust to be seen. The only downside to the experience was not even the fault of Ibis, at around 6am a fire alarm was set off resulting in everyone having to leave the building. This was due to one guest who was not fortunate enough to be born with a brain in his skull, but a cigarette in his mouth.
