Ever wondered why the students of Leeds are so bloody attractive? The multi million pound, cheap-as-chips fitness facilities may just have something to do with it. 

The University Of Leeds boasts a brand new, £25 million sports complex, with an 8 lane swimming pool, a 200 station health and fitness centre and over 125 classes per week. The facilities include a climbing wall, squash courts, tennis courts, indoor football and basket ball courts as well as outdoor. There are also a huge amount of classes available from pilates, to BLT (Bum legs and tum). Known as The Edge, this swanky new fitness suite opened in 2009 and memberships are available to students for as little as £150 a month. 

Leeds Met meanwhile, offers an exceptional choice of  aerobic and sporting activities at its school of sports and fitness; Carnegie Sport. A Leeds Met Sports, Health and Fitness Membership costs just £100 for students (+£10 for Free Weights add on) and is valid for the whole academic year.

The pass gives you access to the state-of-the-art fitness centres at Headingley Campus and the Civic Quarter. If you don't fancy commiting to a sports pass, you can pay £4 per session on a pay as you go basis.
