The sunny resort town of Southend-on-Sea will host the ultimate celebration of music, drink and food and live music next summer. The independently organised Lazydays Festival will transform the Essex city's picturesque Priory Park into a paradise for beverage enthusiasts and music lovers alike.
It started in 2023 as three mates - Andy, Elliott and Mike - connected through promoting local gigs, a shared love of festivals, and a fair share of charity fundraisers. We wanted to create a festival that felt genuine and personal, about community, creativity and pride. Every pint poured and every song played supports local talent, independent businesses and local projects.
Up-and-coming artists will also be spotlighted, platforming fresh talent alongside established acts.
Free admission for children under 12.
