I've been to the last two ukgfests and this did not compare. The venue was hard to get around as there was to many people trying to get up and down the stairs, this was due to the toilets being upstairs and the smoking area beening down stairs. The music was shocking there was several songs that were played over and over again, Ukgfest is about celebrating 20 years of garage and all I could hear was a load of grime and some OK newer garage. There was no way of knowing when any of the live pa where going to be on, which meant if you was outside smoking you would miss everything as there was no speakers in the decked area outside. I am massively disappointed as Ukgfest has been the best night of my life for two years running due to the fact garage is such a big part of my life. There's more I could say but I think I've been negative enough let's hope next year they can put the same effort into it that they did the first year.

Been going ukg fest for years and every year I've loved it and have recommended it to fellow garage heads. Sadly, I Wasn't impressed at all this year. Venue/stage was less impressive. Acts weren't hyped as in previous years. The crowd was too young! There wasn't enough Ukg played, too much grime and current music. The atmosphere was stale at times and there were too many people openly doing laughing gas balloons and smoking cannabis. Disappointing for a true garage fan.

Fab night, music was great and good venue! Met lots of nice people! I was just a little disappointed that we got asked to leave around 5am due to a little disagreement my friend had with someone, this girl went to a bouncer and said she wanted us out, bouncer came over said what happened that was it as people around us advised the bouncer we had done nothing wrong. We thought great carry on with our night, but about half hour later a female bouncer said we had to leave as this girl decided to tell another bouncer, we weren't really given chance to explain or anything! We came all the way from Cardiff we just wanted to dance and enjoy the music and quite frankly bit too old to argue etc. Anyway apart that it was a great evening and glad we were asked to leave at 5 not before. The security was great I felt safe and strictly ID needed before could get in and security were fab during the night, I know they just doing their job but felt it was a little unfair.
Top night though would return, worth the trip down.

Arrived around 11pm and had to que however it moves pretty fast. Once we entered the place was heaving! As the night went on more and more people kept arriving it become impossible to move let alone dance. To get to the bar was a fight in itself especially on the ground floor. The toilets are up either 2 or 3 flights of stairs - this would be OK if the stairs wasn't a complete hazard with the vast amount of people squeezing up them at the same time. £24 for 4 small (vkice size ) bulmers ciders is crazy! Nearer the end of the nights the floors were so sticky it was a struggle for girls in flat/pump shoes to walk as the shoes would stick to floor and come off ur feet or in my case pull the soles off!

Great music and friendly security. Loads better venue than the Coronet, however acoustics in this Building Six aren't great (even though its meant to be a state of the art nightclub), you could hear the MCs voice bouncing off the walls and the music wasn't loud enough. Drinks were pretty pricey (£5 for a small bottle of cider), but Half expected that with the O2. Overall good night though.

Didnt not like venue and the music was not enough old school garage which is what i was expecting. Attended same event 2013 london coronet and had a really good night. Unfortunaty dissapointed this time.

There were no signs suggesting where to go to get in. Many of the DJ'S did not show up and most of the rooms played the same music. Venue was good, lighting was excellent and sound quality was great just a shame about the music!
