One of the UK's most loved soul nights, Soul Heaven has been bringing soulful house to dancefloors across the world since it launched at Ministry of Sound over a decade ago.
Now the much loved night returns to the Capital for a series of parties at Electric Brixton, launching on Saturday 5th March with a solid line-up of Soul Heaven residents and favourites, including Louie Vega, Paul Trouble, Boddhi Satva in the main room and Neil Pierce Fanatix and Sy Sex Aphrodsiax in room two.
Louie Vega and Paul Trouble have been friends since 1989. They were on the bill together for the early Sunrise and Energy events which heralded the beginning of the house era in London, then later Louie had guest spots at Paul's HQ Loft Parties among weekly guest such as Loleatta Holloway, Jean Carne, Jocelyn Brown, Masters at Work, Tony Humphries, Rosie Gaines, Michael Watford, Darryl Pandy and Barbara Tucker to name but a few .
Louie says "Paul Trouble is one of the few pioneers of house music that truly inspired me to make some of the Maw sounds I had played on keyboards at that time. His sound was deep, soulful and had a real ness to it that touched anyone in whichever room he played in, one of my Londontown heroes".
