Born in a flat in East London 18 years ago, Rinse FM has grown to be more than just a radio station.  It's acted as hub for a thriving creative community, drawing together like-minded people unwilling to compromise on the music they want to hear, make and dance to.

In the process it's nurtured some of the most remarkable forms of music to emerge from London - from jungle to UK garage, dubstep, grime and beyond - as well as some of the most iconic stars of the last decade: Wiley, Dizzee Rascal, Skream and Katy B to name a few.

The 18th birthday celebrations kick off on Friday 28th September at The Warehouse Proejct in Manchester. More than 40 artists will take to the WHP stage over the course of the night, with Katy B, Skream, Diplo, Zinc, Kode9 and Plastician just some of the acts set to appear.

Tickets for Rinse 18th birthday at The Warehouse Project are now on sale with Skiddle, priced at £22.50

The next night the celebrations continue, as the party moves to the city that spawned it 18 years ago - and more specifically, to Brixton Academy. The night will feature a selection of Rinse's DJs playing the genres that have defined the station over the years of its existence, alongside special guests Modeselektor, A-Trak and Claude Von Stroke.
