With such a varied range of hotels on our website, we thought we'd do a bit of digging to help you out, carefully selecting a handful of hotels to make your stay in the capital extra special.

Perfectly placed on the banks of the river Thames, giving you an unrivalled viewpoint of the great London skyline, The Savoy is the first of our golden picks. Just a stone throws away from the vibrancy of Covent Gardens, you'd have a job on your hands to find a hotel better placed, and for those two reasons alone, we cannot recommend The Savoy enough.

Equally well placed along the banks of the River Thames is the Chelsea Harbour Hotel, the only 5 star all suite establishment in the whole of London. It provides the perfect opportunity to relax and unwind, offering services such as the nearby Blue Harbour health club and spa and it's sumptuous riverside brasserie with stunning panoramic amongst a whole host of luxurious temptations.

If you're looking for a bite to eat, the only menu to eat from is The Langham's, who have a special menu on the cards for one night only at their Roux at the Landau restaurant ran by michelin star chef Michel Roux. Not quite a foodie? Then maybe the bar, named the World's Best for the last two years running, will better stimulate your senses.

Our final selection is The Rosewood, one of London's grandest joints counterbalanced by its stylish yet sophisticated interior. It's located a stones through away from the vibrant West End and the cultured avenues of the aforementioned Covent Gardens.
