Having just celebrated his 50th birthday (watch the first half of that insane party below), Sven Väth or Papa Sven as he's affectionately called hasn't showed any signs of slowed down, as his supreme techno brand Cocoon continues at a pace to bring the finest sounds of the genre to the four corners of the globe.

The Frankfurt born trailblazer will be joined by Danah Ruh and Greg Lord when Cocoon takes over Manchester's Albert Hall on Friday December 5th.

Following on from one of his best Ibiza seasons yet, Sven will be delighting Manchester's techno fiends with a dazzling display of DJing power, plundering the world's of melodic tech house right through to piledriving techno, delivered with the charm and charisma of one of the industry's most adored figures. 

Brouqade Records boss Dana Ruh joins in on the action too, bringing her hypnotic, seductive tech house flavours to Manchester's in-the-know ravers, whilst the city's very own Greg Lord rounds of the tantalising techno line up. Grab your Cocoon tickets, here.
