Nestled on the banks of the River Sow, Stafford is an old market town in the East Midlands that is both fascinating historically, and full of things to do. From the 900-year-old Stafford Castle to the Ancient High House, which was built in 1595 and is the oldest timber frame house in the country; the history here is more than enough o entice a visit.
Yet, for those of you who are less historically inclined, when looking for what's on in Stafford, there are an excellent array of clubs, gigs, and huge events for you to sink your teeth into instead.
