DJs and artists to perform at London anti-racist demonstration

The Trafalgar Square demonstration on 28th March features Hot Chip, Daniel Avery, Katy B, and many more.

Over 30 acts have been announced to perform at a Together Against the Far-Right demonstration in London.

House Against Hate comes to Trafalgar Square on Saturday 28th March as part of a Together Alliance demonstration aimed at pushing back against the far-right in Britain.  

The free event will see performances from Hot Chip (DJ), GIDEÖN ft. Jessie Ware, Daniel Avery, DJ Boring, Katy B, DJ Paulette, Greentea Selecta (Greentea Peng DJ), Ben UFO, Yazmin Lacey, Moxie, Hannah Holland, Chloé Caillet, Horse Meat Disco, Jon Hopkins, Shygirl (Club Shy), Homobloc DJs, and more. 

Announced by GIDEÖN on Instagram after “months in secret planning”, the event is presented by R3 Soundsystem, “London’s favourite protest soundystem.” The R3’s three Rs stand for reject, revolt, resist.  

The music events make up just a part of the day’s programming, with a main march, a short route march, and speeches also taking place. The day's events will run from 12pm to 6pm. 

Together Alliance will also be running coaches from locations across the country to allow people from outside of London to attend. 

Public figures who have supported the Together Alliance include Paloma Faith, Fontaines D.C., Brian Eno, Clean Bandit, Joy Crookes, Frank Turner, Jordan Stephens (Rizzle Kicks), AURORA, The Charlatans, Franz Ferdinand, Self Esteem, and Nadine Shah, as well as Zack Polanski (Green Party) and Zarah Sultana (Your Party MP).

Organisations include Stand Up to Racism, Palestine Solidarity Campaign, Greenpeace UK, Choose Love, Love Music Hate Racism, and the London Green Party.
