Review of Oktoberfest Kent 2024
What can I say, been to the last three Octoberfest's ( afternoon sessions ) and honestly have enjoyed everyone.
Such a friendly and enjoyable vibe had such a great time, everyone is there to have fun and have a good time, didn't see any trouble what so ever.
Definitely will be back next year , if you haven't been before I would definitely recommend it....Just to add all staff were great

Review of Oktoberfest Kent 2024
This 'Oktoberfest' event sucked and we left after an hour. Let me tell you why.
We got frisked, fully frisked, on the way in. There was a drug amnesty bin as well, which started making sense later on as the event would have been immeasurably improved by hard drugs.
The food was a selection of three popups, essentially a burger stand, a potato stand and a pizza stand. The closest thing to German food was the burger van, which sold a few German sausages in a bun with dry onion flakes and nothing else. The potato van also sold a baked potato with sauerkraut and curry sauce, very authentic.
The music was a live DJ playing such authentic German hits as Rick Astley, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and S Club 7. You could immerse yourself further in the culture by buying one of several available hats including a traffic cone, a Jamaican w**d leaf bucket hat and of course Oasis '25 merch. It was just like Berlin.
I will say this, the beer we had was very good, and available in high quantities. While pricey for what it was, holding a giant two pint plastic cup filled with beer made me feel like a tiny pixie in a world of giants which was great. The downside of course was that drinking two pints of beer meant we had to stay until they were finished, so my favourite part of the event soon became my only barrier to leaving.
I maintain that the only way I could have come away from this event with a net positive experience is if I had stolen one of the drug amnesty bins.
Only attend this event if your idea of a good time is the family entertainment at Butlins, in which case go right ahead. Otherwise, buy a 6 pack of Richmond and a tinny of Carling and have your own Maidstone Oktoberfest experience at home, where seating will be more readily available.
