Pouring rain with no cover even though they put one in for weddings. We waited over an hour for the pizzas and they were stone cold because they got all of the details wrong. Extremely muddy so you were slipping all over the place. Left before the film finished.

I was really looking forward to this but I was very disappointed. On the information before you go it says that umbrellas aren’t permitted which is understandable as it would obscure others views of the screen. However we were left without any cover so we had to sit in the rain whilst watching the film, getting more and more wet. I was wearing a waterproof and a thick coat but still left feeling freezing cold due to being rained on the entire time. There was an attempt by staff to dry off the seats but they did a terrible job as I sat down and my partner and I had a wet backside for the entirety of the film. My partner and I are in fact ill now as a result of this and are disgusted and angry by the fact that the event organisers feel it is acceptable to make people pay over £13 per ticket but leave them with no cover from the rain. They even had the cheek to charge £6 for blankets so they obviously realise that they are leaving people exposed to all elements. The chairs were also rock hard so our backs were left feeling sore and the amount of mud that we walked through and had to sit in during the film was abysmal. Would strongly advise people to avoid this event like the plague. All of the problems with the event could have been solved by simply putting a cover up to protect people from the rain. There was even an advertisement before the film for a beer festival coming up at the bombed out church that had a cover - so there is quite clearly the ability to do this. The organisers should be ashamed of themselves -they clearly only care about the money that they make and not about the well-being of the people who come to this event. The only reason we stayed to watch the film is because we had paid so much to see it that we felt we had to. Overall I would give this 0 stars if I could.

It is indeed a very good idea, but I think it lack some details.. as it was raining I think there could have been a tent or something to prevent visitorst to sit 2h in the rain and cold. And also I think there should be subtitles on the movies, I am foreign and sometimes it's difficult to understand some lines, and also if there was subtitles people with hearing disabilities could enjoy the event as well.

We had a good time, despite the rain throughout. I feel as though there should have been a contingency plan considering the time of year in the north west, i.e. ponchos handed out or cover put up so the entire audience didn’t go home soaked to the bone. However it was a good concept and we enjoyed our time nonetheless.

A perfect setting, I’d not seen this movie before , to my daughters horror. I thoroughly enjoyed everything about it. I really do hope you do more at this venue.

Amazing night watching Harry Potter and the Philosopher's stone in the church, when the bat's started flying around, really added to the atmosphere, would definitely go again.

Love these outdoor cinema days/nights. I’ve now seen pretty woman and the greatest showman, which the kids loved. Always makes it better when the sun shines as well. 10/10
