Review of The Legends Festival - Stoke Park, Guildford
The event was low key and not super busy.
Most of the acts were very entertaining, but as with all festivals it is common to not like everything. Dance music isn't my thing and so I didn't particularly enjoy that set but if you like that I'm sure it was good.
There was a bit of a queue to get in on the first day but the security wasn't oppressive in anyway.
The sound system was good. It was LOAD (but not painful) if you got close but it was also easy to move away (and still see the stage) if you wanted to chat (or answer the phone !!)
The prices at the food stall were a little higher than the equivalent in the town (£5-6 for drinks, £6-7 for a burger, etc.) but not too bad.
The toilet that I used (6pm, 2nd day) was clean (it looked hardly used) and there were lots of them.
My biggest complaint was the the queues for the food stalls at 8:30 on Saturday were not only very long but also very variable in how fast the moved. I queued for 40 minutes for a Pulled Pork burger before switching to the (then empty) burrito stall.

A potentially great day out ruined by excessively overpriced food and drink vendors with a knowingly captive market as no outside drinks of any kind allowed in to the venue. Small bottle of c**e £3 tin of beer £5 small can of spirit and mixer £6 chips ranging from £2.50 up to £7

So missed this type of entertainment but most acts over the two days were fantastic stand out performances by Tina Turner. Badness, Bowie. ABBA George Michael

Well organised, good acts, lots of food and dink. Felt safe. Could have done with more going on in-between acts to keep the crowd and the atmosphere going, some acts weren't introduced so a host would have been a good addition.

Although a lot of people have commented negatively on bar prices, I didn't have a problem with the bar prices this year, as the whole industry is on its knees after a 18 months of devastation. But that goodwill will run out next year.

Drinks prices a bit steep and the fact they ran out of some drinks by early on day 2 wasn’t good. Queues for food long and not really enough food stands for volume of people. Otherwise we’ll organised parking good

Fantastic weekend of music and dancing. Great location and facilities.
Great line up of very professional and entertaining acts. Very well organised and we had lots of fun and would definitely go again next year if it’s organised.
Brilliant value for money too with the weekend passes. Well done for a great event

Review of The Legends Festival - Stoke Park, Guildford
A fabulous weekend of great entertainment. Really friendly, safe environment to party. The only negative was the length of queues for food on the Saturday. By Sunday we all brought our own as a result which is a shame for the vendors. Bar queues were also long on Saturday, but not as bad, and really easy on Sunday. An announcer would have helped to MC through the event. But that is it, as the bands were great, room to sit and stand near the front and dance - and that is what we all came for after all. We thought it was good value. Amazing to be at live music and in a big crown again. Great event with friends and family to have a memorable, unique weekend. We can't wait until next year!

Review of The Legends Festival - Stoke Park, Guildford
The prices at the bar were very steep especially as we weren't allowed to bring anything with us. Food and ice-cream too were expensive and the queus took too long.
But we did have an amazing weekend and all the staff were friendly and helpful.
A couple of the acts did too many slow songs and I wanted to dance more but otherwise good choice of acts.

Great however had an issue with our tea in flask being thrown away and our cans of c**e,plus wasn’t explained why this was as they were selling cans and tea but but made up excuse by steward not impressed also told we could collect them on way out which also wasn’t true as another steward said we weren’t allowed to even though we’d been told we could ! This needs to be sorted ! People smoking not I. The smoking area and using vapours we reported it but nothing was done and dropping cigarette butts on grass alight plus spitting on the grass several times. Also many toilets didn’t work wouldn’t flush only soap and no water ran out of toilet paper in one toilet .Otherwise very enjoyable and well organised the usual rip off with food and drinks and all the food very American not much edible other than fish and chips which was lovely and a good portion!
