Review of Straighten out-Nice n Sleazy Glasgow
Straighten Out are without doubt the closest thing to the original Stranglers line up you can get. The song arrangements are replicated with superb instrument and voice precision, energy and enthusiasm from all 4 band members (even replicating who sings each song....sublime). They compliment each other magnificently. Shaggy (the bass player) interacts with the crowd to get the energy levels boosted and it makes for a brilliant nostalgia trip back to the late 70's/early 80's. One of the best small venue gigs I've been to. I also follow this band when they play Paisley (The Bungalow) and Bathgate (Dreadnoughtrock). They also play other Scottish venues, but the 3 here I've mentioned are the closet for me. The only downside to the Nice'N'Sleazy venue is the horrible pillars that are placed down the centre line of the viewing floor area. Shame they can't do away with these, they are just part of being an old building but won't stop me going back for more! Next gig is March 24...see you there!

Review of Cosmic Empire + Paisley Parc + The Review
Great night at Sleazys the atmosphere was awesome and the bands were fantastic especially Paisley Parc it’s surely only a matter of time before they break through and become one of the biggest bands around - I can always say I saw them at Sleazys

Review of The Frowns, Dolan, Guests
Despite the last minute venue change (and one band having to drop out) this was a fantastic evening. As well as being exceptional musicians, Dolan really entertained and truly engaged with the audience. A great wee night 🎸
